Congratulations on joining HubSpot's Themes Challenge 2021. Whether you're brand new to building on our platform or are a seasoned pro, we look forward to receiving your entry.
Here are a few resources you may find helpful:
- Get started: Visit our Quickstart Guide to Developing on HubSpot's CMS. You'll learn how to set up our local development tooling, download boilerplate files, and create and edit your first project.
- Create an account: Next, you'll want to create a free Marketplace Provider Account. Build your contest theme in this account so you'll be able to submit it to the Marketplace when you're ready.
- Learn best practices: If you are new to building on HubSpot or want to brush up on your skills, check out the free video courses and other available content on this page.
- Team up: You don't have to face this challenge alone. Check out the Participants tab on the contest website to find other designers and developers looking to join forces.
- Maximize your score: Check out this post to learn what our judges are looking for in each category and how scoring will work.
- Stay connected:
- Join our developer Slack community. Use #themes and #marketplace channels for quick questions about those topics.
- Get your in-depth technical questions answered on our developer forums
- Get non-technical contest questions answered on the contest website here (timeline, rules, etc.)
